What does Tkiya do?
Tkiya creates participatory music experiences that meet participants where they are – physically, psychologically, and spiritually – to find their unique connection to Jewish culture and community. Our programs are distinctively tailored to fit the needs of various communities and learning styles, and are accessible across a wide spectrum of Jewishness. We partner with 100+ organizations around the country such as JCCs, synagogues, federations, camps, and more.
Tkiya offers programs for all ages and we are best known for our unique methodology that is designed to educate and engage young children and their families through songs and stories. In addition to providing direct programming, we now offer a training and certification program for educators everywhere. We also have a growing directory of online resources for families and educators alike!
Mission: Tkiya creates joyful Jewish connection through participatory music experiences.
Vision: A world where all people experience enriched connection to Jewish life through music.

A Taste of Tkiya
In 2018, our Founder & Executive Director received the Young Pioneers Award from the Jewish Education Project for her work building Tkiya. This video gives a window into the magic of our programming and the impact we bring to the communities we serve.
Here’s a clip from a Grandparent Jam Zoom. Grandparent Jam is designed to help families participate in Jewish experiences together from a distance, centered around different holidays and values. This clip is from a program held on Mothers' Day with the theme of "Family".
