Direct Service in Select Regions

In our direct service areas — NYC, Long Island, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and the Bay Area — Tkiya can provide your camp with a Songleader for the summer. We’ll work with you to infuse music throughout your week with:

  • Shabbat

  • Music classes for each camp group

  • Full-camp song sessions

  • Music Club

This training and certification program allows educators everywhere to access Tkiya’s methodology and resources. While we are continuing our flagship trianing program for early childhood educators, this year we are also launching a day camp-specific cohort of Tkiya Gedola!

Participation in this cohort includes:

  • January/February - Zoom workshop with camp leadership to develop a framework for music at camp this summer and support your search for the right songleader

  • May/June - Four Zoom workshops with camp songleaders to prepare them for camp.

  • May 15-20 - Optional participation in camp track at Hava Nashira

  • July - Check-in Zoom workshop for cohort members mid-summer

  • Ongoing Support - through the cohort’s WhatsApp group and access to Tkiya mentors

  • Access to Tkiya’s content library of camp repertoire and planning templates for music class, Shabbat, song sessions, and more!
